It's a GIRL! X 2

This was made for a baby show for my cousin. She was throwing the shower for her sister in law who is having twin girls! The cake is a chocolate cake with cookies n cream filling. I was told Kelley's favorite cookie is an oreo, it seemed perfect!

Christmas Cookies!

Adri gave me 101 cookie cutters for Christmas...so Jake and I put them to good use. Jake is great at cutting as many cookies as he can in one slab of dough. So I put him to work and here are the finished and decorated cookies...all ready to go to work with me. Don't worry there will be Christmas cakes to follow and even a baby shower cake!

Thanksgiving Goodies!

I made a Lemon cake with Blueberry cream cheese filling for one of the dinners we went to. For the other one I made Coconut Cream Cupcakes! Both tasted pretty good according to all that tried them!!

It's a GIRL!

My cousin Sarah announced the sex of her baby yesterday and I was able to make a cake for the occasion!!!

30th Wedding Anniversary

I recreated my in-laws wedding cake. I think it is a modern version of their wedding cake from 30 years ago! The first tier is red velvet and cream cheese. The second tier is a chocolate cake and cookies and cream filling. The third tier is white almond sour cream and raspberry filling. All very yummy! There is a picture of the original thrown in!

I love this cake! I think it turned out great. It is a vanilla cake with Strawberry filling and ladybugs was the theme.

Happy Birthday Meagan!

This is a zoo themed cake. I chose primary colors because I thought it goes well with the zoo theme. Really like the animals...eyes are a little funny. But overall great! It is a chocolate cake with cookies and cream filling and it should taste AWESOME!

Baby Brayden!

This was a cake for a baby shower....It's a Boy :). The cake is vanilla with a strawberry filling. The mother to be really likes monkeys. I love the monkey face; not super happy with the writing, but it's a cute cake!

Happy Birthday Sarah E!

This is a vanilla cake with raspberry vanilla filling. It is for a friend from camp whose daughter is turning 1! She wanted pink and green with ladybugs...I think it looks great.

Bachelorette Party!

I made this cake for my cousin who was throwing a bachelorette party. The bride's colors were pastel green and navy. The blue isn't as dark as I would have like but over all I love the cake. Enjoy.

Experimenting!

My sister's birthday is this weekend and I used her birthday cake to practice with my Cricut cake. I think the top of the cake looks great...the sides need a little work. But that is what family is for :) They think you are creative no matter how ugly it is. Initially, I didn't like the color scheme, but now that the cake is complete I really like it.

Like the name of this post suggests, I was experimenting with my Cricut! The fondant ribbon roses turned out great. They have green edible sparkles on them as well. I was really pleased with the top cut out as well. Overall I give the cake a B-, I know I have made better cakes in the past.

Happy 1st Bday Wyatt!

The smash cake was dairy free, egg free, soy free, and wheat free! This was a first for me and I think the cake turned out great. If you didn't guess- it was western themed and the larger cake I made all the accents with the Cricut!

Surprise!

My cousin Lindsey planned a surprise lunch for my Aunt Kathy. I supplied the cake! At lunch I came very close to getting a wedding cake order. My aunt was shocked to see soo many faces at lunch :)
